The room was clean and comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. I appreciate the effort taken by the staff. they were warm and accommodating, answering all my questions with a smile. However, I was disappointed with the lack of free coffee or tea in the lobby, especially since breakfast options were pricey with a limited menu. The coffee in my room wasn’t great, and the creamer had expired. The lack of affordable dining options is something I wish they could improve. Overall, I enjoyed my time but felt there were missed opportunities for amenities.

Amazing staff hospitality

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable King Room that provided a restful sleep, thanks to the great air conditioning. The staff was attentive and accommodating, as I was greeted warmly upon arrival by the front desk, who expedited my check-in process swiftly. The on-site cafe offered a variety of breakfast options, including hot items like eggs and breakfast sandwiches, convenient for grabbing a quick meal before work.

We had a fun family trip, visiting the nearby Buffalo Zoo, which was a hit with our 3 young kids. The indoor pool was perfect for unwinding after our adventures! Michelle at the front desk was welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.

In my wife’s opinion, the hotel should offer more kid-friendly amenities.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement

We enjoyed a two-night stay in a King Room. The mattress offered great support, making sleep restful. However, a noticeable stain on the carpet left an uneasy feeling.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Courtyard By Marriott Buffalo Amherst/University. The meeting space was spacious, well-lit, and silent, perfect for my engagements. The staff were exceptionally helpful, making the check-in process seamless and my overall experience delightful.

Limited dining options.

The indoor pool was delightful for unwinding, and staff were exceedingly helpful (they even went out of their way to make a special drink for me! ). Laundry service was very convenient.

The hallway lights were rather bright, which made it hard to sleep in at times.

It was just a balanced option for a mini-break over the weekend in Amherst with extraordinarily good value for money. The room was very nicely appointed and well maintained, making it a pleasant surprise for a budget stay. Check that the air conditioning works well to keep the room comfortable.

This is my go-to spot when visiting, as the super comfy mattresses made my nights restful and the simple dining area served up some delicious meals. I really enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi for unwinding after long days. The bright hallway light was a bit distracting at times, but overall, I had a nice experience! 😊
